Referring Physicians

Participation in a clinical research study is an adjunct to regular medical care. Study-related physicians do not become a patient’s primary physician; patients are directed to continue seeing their usual physician(s) and to maintain existing medical relationships. Optimed Research will also forward test results and other medical findings to a participant's physician upon patient's written request.

As an additional service, Optimed Research staff representatives are happy to talk to and/or visit any medical office that expresses interest in learning about the clinical research study process.
